Who I am and what I love…

Hey y’all!… Glad you made it this far and that you want to know a little about me. . .

I’m Anthony LaMothe, Principal Photographer for Anthony LaMothe Photography. I’m the man behind the lens and well… blah, blah, blah.

This isn’t a resume. Well it sort of is, but I want y’all to get to know more about me because this is suppose to be fun; right?

I’ve been a professional photographer for about 16 years now and I love every moment of it. Prior to photography I was in the Architectural field & I also have a graphic design company called Form & Flux.

I am a husband to an amazing wife and mother, Dr. Jodi LaMothe, Ed.D. We have two beautiful daughters, Jolie & Bailey, who seem to always keep us on our toes, along with our German Shepherd duo, Simba & Nala. You’ll probably see them from time to time on our social media and they tend to get the most “likes” & attention.

I’m big on family, so when I’m not photographing weddings or lifestyle sessions I’m spending time with my girls and crossing off items on my never-ending “honey-do” list. Some of my favorite things in life are God first, my family, photography of course, architecture, everything New Orleans, all kinds of foods, technology & gadgets, hitting the range, riding my trike, cracking jokes, playing the drums, good music, CDM coffee and Crown Royal (but not together)… but most importantly making lasting memories.

What can I say about my amazing, smart, beautiful ladies? Other than they are my world and my reason. And if that wasn’t enough, we also have (what was suppose to be only one) two headstrong German Shepherds… Please pray of us!

As you can tell I love having fun and being creative at the same time… And, I’m also a supporter of fellow small businesses too, so if that’s you let’s connect. I’ve been an active member of the New Orleans Chamber of Commerce for years. I’ve since joined their Board as the New Orleans Chamber Ambassador Chairman & their Chairman’s Council, so I’m honored & excited to be a part of such a great organization.
